Data Recovery Rescues Company From Going Under

Partners in Quality Training is a business which assists the unemployed with essential skills for gaining employment, including motivation and self-esteem. Wayne Chilcott and his partner Deanne had been in business for just under 12 months when, without warning, their hard drive crashed.
Chilcott recalls, "I was preparing a large proposal that, if successful, would expand our business throughout New South Wales when the whole system died. After an extremely anxious two and a half weeks waiting to hear back from my local computer supplier's data recovery partner, I was told they couldn't recover our data.
"Because the drive contained all of our business processes, accounts and client information, I was convinced this signalled the end of our business," remembers Chilcott.
"Then a friend told me that CBL were the people for data recovery," says Chilcott. "By this stage I was pretty pessimistic, but nonetheless I contacted CBL."
Chilcott was reassured by CBL's no data, no charge policy and in a total of six days all the valuable information contained on the hard drive was retrieved.
"When CBL rang to say they had managed to retrieve a mirror image of my data I could hardly believe it. I even got to submit our proposal in time, so we won the contract and have now commenced work at the extra sites in NSW," comments Chilcott.
All Partners in Quality Training's vital business information was on the hard drive that failed. They had been using an external supplier for backup but after their hard drive crash they discovered this had failed. The last backup had been done three months previously.
Chilcott said, "It's good to know that data recovery is available as a repair shop of last resort when the inevitable backup failure occurs."
